Why request a sample

A sample answers the questions a datasheet cannot.

  • Color Index identity does not make two pigments interchangeable; crystal form, particle size, surface treatment and dispersion affect shade, strength, transparency and fastness.
  • Heat stability, migration, warpage, plate-out and light/weather performance change with polymer, concentration, process temperature, residence time and reduction ratio.
  • A sample study gives procurement a defensible cost-in-use comparison based on tint strength, dosage, scrap, color corrections and consistency—not price per kilogram.
